Why We Do It?
The U.S. is currently facing a deficit of professionals prepared to enter the STEM workforce. Furthermore, there is an alarming lack of diversity reflected amongst America’s STEM professionals. One of the major reasons for this startling pipeline deficiency and absence of diversity is the lack of innovative recruitment with inventive methods and strategies.
The STEM-A-Mentary program addresses this challenge by exposing students at earlier ages about what the world of STEM can offer them presently and in their futures. In the program, students are engaged and shown the application of the core subjects they learn in school as well as introduced to some new content they may not be familiar with.
